This is the official version of this program. But you are right that it looks like someones beta for this editor. For the moment the editor is still in its alpha stage. I do publish the alpha versions to get feedback on how the program should function. Things are progressing slowly. It now has:
-3d world editor (only existing worlds)
-event editor
-texture manager
-3d mesh manager
-bone animation
Things to come are:
-mirrors
-bumpmapping
-character interaction
-visible main character
-more control to bone animations

PS take a look at the example game to see what is possible now. You can make escape the room type of games or maze like games.
